Strength in Our Foundation

Shantell Pepe- Founder of CARE Institute and Licensed Mental Health Counselor has extended training certifications in trauma-focused-cognitive behavioral therapy (C-TF-CBT), eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR-C), neuropsychotherapy (NPT), and Qualified Supervisor for Registered Mental Health Counselor Interns seeking licensure in the State of Florida.

“My virtue is through overcoming personal experiences with childhood trauma and PTSD. I know the vulnerability and uncertainty of letting someone in and have felt the fear of revisiting difficult memories. With me, you are safe; I promise to be with you for every step (or stumble) of your journey.”

Creating A Resilient Environment is the foundation of CARE Institute. We will remain diligent in our role to provide mental health care and continued education for our community and practicing professionals.

I work collaboratively with clients to explore themes of self-love, overcoming isolation, processing guilt and shame, and developing healthy coping strategies. I am committed to creating a supportive, non-judgmental space that honors each person's unique cultural background and personal journey. My goal is to help clients build resilience, develop self-compassion, and create meaningful pathways toward emotional wellness and personal transformation."
